  1. Tricia, thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm sorry I haven't been visiting much lately. Getting ready for a road trip and will be passing through your part of the country. Lovely photos you posted here! Sometimes bad things just happen and then they turn out to be good things. 🙂

  2. For me the key to a positive job search is to stay focus and organized. If I’m not busy, I may sit around and think of the negatives. Further, I have a very supportive family and with such positive supportive people at my back, I know I can’t fail. I stay organize because I find it hard to think and feel good about myself when things are not in order. With that in mind, I get up the same time as when I was working and go out for an hour walk. This is important for my mental and physical health. I set a job search schedule from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily with one hour for lunch. During my lunch break, I completely step away from the computer and watch TV or go out for some fresh air. At 4:00 pm, I shut down my computer (with very few exceptions) and prepare dinner. If I don’t shut down the computer, I tend to come back to it after dinner and I know I need time for myself and my family. I schedule at least 2 events a week that will get me out of the house – networking or volunteering. I need this for my sanity. Finally, I tell myself every day that the right job is out there for me, but I must have patience.
